For years I was convinced I was under a curse. is that a curse The Curse of the Leaky Water Bottle. I was constantly throwing away my water-filled tote or holdall from a leaking bottle or loose cap. The passenger seat in my car was covered in water stains from all my carelessly tossed water bottles. Well damn it! Ever since I switched to these Contigo water bottles, I no longer have a wet wallet. Once the lid is screwed on, the auto-seal feature seals things back up, preventing people like me from getting water all over the place. Plus, this bottle with a handful of ice cubes will keep your drink cold all day long at the beach or in a hot car. One thing I miss is that my self-sealing plastic Contigo bottles had a clip that I could use to attach them to the strap of a bag or bungee on my surfboard. This bottle has no clip and the carabiner on the handle only disrupts the flow of water when drinking. I would like to see them with a built in clip. However, the lack of a clamp is a small price to pay for an auto-seal bottle that will keep your drink cold all day!
