Recently my last iron that I sewed and sewed with died and I picked this one up to replace. It's a lot heavier than most irons I've used, especially when the tank is full. But it glides smoothly over fabric and has different settings for use with different types of fabric. The steamer works great but splatters and splatters when you lift the iron off the fabric to put it back. You have to be careful that no one is standing in front of you when they do this or they will be spattered with burning steam - not good. And I tend to flick the switch that you use to turn the steam on and off while ironing, so I have to reset it often as I work. The tank is bigger than most, that's why I chose this iron and it's easy to fill. I like this function very much. In general, the iron is not bad, you just need to be careful with it. This works great for all the Covid masks I have mass produced and allows me to make them quickly and efficiently. Overall a good iron but a little heavy for those with weak hands that need to be handled carefully when using the steam iron.
