Review on Mission Belt Mens Ratchet Leather by Patrick Arnautov

Updates: I've owned all three belts for about two years now. All of them still function normally with moderate wear. I've seen people have issues with all three manufacturers. But mine still works great. I spotted some great new high quality leather belts from Mooniva and jumped on the deal and bought the next belt. Wow, amazing belt! Mooniva Men's Leather Ratchet Belt Luxury Collection Small (20"-32") Brown I'm a huge fan of ratchet belts having bought my first one from Mission Belts website. I love the adjustable ratchet buckle. Now I have these belts from Mission, SlideBelt and a few from Mooniva. Here are my 2 cents when comparing the straps from these three suppliers: Common Features: - Very similar ratchet which is the main reason I like ratchet straps. So easy, so flexible! - High quality leather at a reasonable price. Here's a rough comparison of three belt brands: Mission Belt (the earliest ratchet belt vendor): - Its buckles are fairly simple and straightforward. Not many other textures and designs. I liked its black-on-black base variant. - The quality of the leather seems to be excellent. My first ratchet strap was purchased from the Mission website. It still works fine. - Mission offers different belt colors, but its leather texture is quite simple and traditional. Not a lot of choice, even on the newer version I bought - the width of the buckle and straps is slightly smaller. Most traditional men's buckles and belts are the same width as the SlideBelt/Mooniva. I need a thinner one for some of the pants I have. For others I use SlideBelt/Mooniva. Mooniva Belts:- Mooniva is one of the best buckle suppliers I've bought from. His website also sells individual buckles that can be paired with the straps you've purchased. Your choice of buckles is truly amazing. - The quality of the leather seems to be excellent. It also has a premium leather option that costs more. So far my Mooniva belts still look great. - Different Mooniva belts have different leather textures. I chose traditional. He has many other options. - The Mooniva belt and buckles are the same width as the SlideBelt, but slightly wider than the Mission SlideBelt: - The SlideBelt buckles are slightly different from those of the Mission and the Mooniva. The switch doesn't use a small tongue, it uses a flipper. - The skin quality appears to be normal. The surface structure is somewhat rough. Bought not too long ago. We'll see how long that lasts. - SlideBelt not only offers different belt colors but also some texture options for you to choose from. - The width of the belt and buckle is about the same as Mooniva, but slightly wider than Mission.
