As the owner of 5 huskies (I know we're crazy) our dog door gets a lot of use and if it can survive in our home you know it must be good! weird chewing on the edges so I find interchangeable doors very useful. It can be confusing which one to order, the logo is the main indicator, if your logo on your door doesn't match then it probably isn't the right one! The Ideal Pets staff were fantastic when I had a question and were even able to suggest a replacement for the magnetic strip on the bottom that keeps the door closed. very helpful as one of our busy herds decided to see how it tastes. We've had the dog door for about 6 years now and this will be the second replacement as it bites oddly around the edges and lets in some drafts. Also, it works well, we live in the Blue Mountains near Sydney so we don't get very cold (we get a little snow a few times a year), it rains a lot but the door doesn't open. in wind or rain/snow (although admittedly the area it opens into is fairly sheltered) doors clean well, as mentioned in an answer to another question, over time (or it's not much time in a guard house! ) With use they can become a little cloudy and lose "clarity", but we usually find that a good cleaning brings them back nice and clear!
