Review on πŸ“ž Cisco Remanufactured SPA504G 4-Line IP Phone with 1-Year Limited Hardware Warranty - Cisco Small Business Product (SPA504G-RF) by Anand Anand ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I am one hundred percent satisfied with the purchase, I recommend this product to everyone.

The phone seems to be simple, BUT what is in it works as it should be until it burns out (the resource runs out). Of the entire "zoo" of VOIP phones, only Cisco and Panasonic bring the least problems. Cisco occasionally fails power supplies. After several years of continuous operation, it may be necessary to replace the cord from the tube or the tube itself (if it begins to wheeze). Grandstream, Yealink, AllVoip and other junk for the same price win ONLY with a screen. They have more and more color. This is where all their advantage ends, because. bring constant problems: either they hang in anticipation, then they hang in DND, then they lose the network, then they stop sending registration requests, etc.

Pros
  • - Good assembly, good plastic. - Good sound transmission, no noise, no echo. - Support for a conference of 3 participants if there is no such functionality on MiniATS. - The software is well tested. - Does not freeze - Doesn't lose network - Does not lose settings - Reliable, works for a long time and does not bring problems. The marriage rate is very low. - The SIP option is configured via the WEB interface, setting up an account, network, time, etc. is quite simple, the interface is intelligible. - flashing requires TFTPD32 or an equivalent on a computer, there is nothing complicated. - if necessary, you can connect an additional panel BLF.
Cons
  • - I wish the screen was bigger. Too small. - If we set a password from USER, then after entering it, the device enters the "call history" until reboot, after rebooting the phone does not let into the call history (incoming, outgoing, missed) and requires the user to enter the password again. For security, it must be configured, but in case of power failures, you have to massively re-enter them. But this is a feature. - The kit does not include a power supply, you need to buy separately. But if your switch supports POE, then you can do without it. - There is no 2022 language out of the box. At first I fiddled with Russification, BUT since. to control the call, only a couple of functions are required - then there is no point in Russification, from the word at all. And for the administrator or telephone operator in the menu in English (in case of setting), everything will be intuitively clear. - There is an old floating problem on some firmware: if an incoming call from subscriber A comes to this phone to subscriber B, and subscriber B makes an advisory call to transfer via the second line to subscriber C - then in case of another incoming call from subscriber G, subscriber B makes the transfer sometimes fail. Subscriber A may fall off.
