Problem solved! for the steering system
Our 2013 GMC Yukon XL Denali has had a howling power steering pump since we bought it over 5 years ago. I finally got rid of my lazy idiot and replaced it with a new Delco pump. You changed me in less than an hour. At the same time I washed the rack and pinion. Now, with a new pump, belt and fluid, everything is quiet, quiet, quiet. It was so easy I'm kicking myself for not doing it 5 years ago.
