Don't go back to HID. Have historically been upgraded to low ohm greenish white LEDs, COB LEDs, much lower power consumption and less heat without the need to replace costly HID ballasts. better than my first generation LED upgrades. They emit at least twice as much light in a focused pattern. No accidental spray. They work in the D4R and D4S socket, a later generation of D2 sockets. To install you need to bypass the ballast with positive and negative Reg 12V, some solder. Very doable work after watching the tutorials on Youtube. The kit includes adapters with positive and negative wires ready for soldering. In the future I will be looking to the MostPlus brand for vehicle lighting upgrades.
