Great product but terrible video management software. 2-way microphone. From the looks of it, you can talk to the person on the other end (triggered by the phone app) but they can't answer you, or at least you can't hear them... clever design! While I wasn't impressed with the software, I liked the fact that it was fairly easy to set up video and snapshot recording times, although browsing the menu by IP address would certainly be more user-friendly. I connected my FTP server to the camera and while the camera backed up the video perfectly to the website, there was neither a player nor a set of codecs that would allow playing that particular video format displayed by default (except for the phone application ). ), which I'll talk about later, found out from a call to support that the videos stored on the server can only be decoded on the phone. (Note: this should be advertised so no one is wasting their time or money buying your product.) Of course, once the files are on the FTP server/website, they can't be viewed on the phone...or with an app for this. (Then why exactly is there an option to connect to an FTP server/site if it can't be used to begin with?) I ended up sending the product back as I can't use it for anything !
