I hate optical tracking for FPS games to the bottom of my heart. The laser is much better and once you really experience the quality, everything changes. Unfortunately, a few ignorant fans keep yelling that looks are better. Mainly because they've never tried a Razer Naga Hex or any other good laser tracker. These same idiots usually tape the optical mouse to prevent tearing. This BenQ mouse can't be glued, but its lift-off distance is great for optics, but still nothing compared to a laser. Why is it important? Because with the laser you can remove thin paper, which means less effort and less time. A great laser mouse offers a much larger area of control and the ability to reset position MUCH FASTER. Think machine-cut potato chips and amateur-cut potato chips. It's such a big difference. This trash mouse will never fit in a 2014 Razer Naga Hex. But, ironically, it's the best of the terrible options for now. It only has two side buttons, but they're placed a little better than average. I still look at BenQ for such a high price for a barely acceptable mouse. Dear BenQ! Switch to Lasers. Place 4-6 side buttons further back like a Razer Naga Hex. Stick to plug and play, nobody needs software. The DPI button at the bottom is great, keep up the good work. Improve mouse wheel rotation, any mouse, the one I tried from you was terrible in that regard. If you do all that, I'll happily pay even more than you.
