It was a Christmas present we just opened, my grandson was very happy to use it. I put 3 new AA batteries in and thought I smelled something hot when the light wouldn't come on I opened the compartment again to put in 3 different batteries and they were very warm to the touch and smelled hot. Needless to say we won't be using it but what stinks is I'm doing my Christmas shopping early, my return window has expired so I just lost $25. Wouldn't buy this bench. fire chance.
