Choose the USB 3.0 option ($9) over the USB 2.0 option ($6). I can't imagine why there is a cheaper model at all. The USB 3.0 option is by far the Revain's best video capture quality, better than many similar products costing at least twice as much and in some cases featuring USB. 2.0 cable instead of USB 3.0 cable; I bought them and sent them back. To connect to a high quality digital camera, I used a 2MP HDMI to MicroHDMI cable - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07VRCK5W1 - which currently costs $9. While it's rated for up to 2160p (4K) input, the best output available is only 1080p, but that's perfectly reasonable for a $9 device.
