My job involves entering data several times a week for 10-14 hours at a time. The numeric keypad provided by my company had many quirks and issues that I struggled with for years. In the end I decided to upgrade myself and bought this inexpensive digital box from Targus. The first week of use was WOW! Why didn't I switch sooner. Hundreds of entries in the first week and not a single issue missed. The second week is the same story, I really liked the comfort and accuracy of the number pad. In the third week he started acting at a time when I couldn't miss it. Luckily I had an old backup and was done with it. Tried again for week 4 and absolutely no problems on day 1. The problems returned on the second day, but I was able to take the time to analyze what was happening. I could find that holding down the enter key causes it to cycle through the end of my input fields. Every time it got stuck I just touched it and it popped out. The longer I used it, the more often. It's a shame because I was really happy with this number pad. I think I'll have to try and find one that's a lot more durable.
