Review on KCT [2 PACK] Paperfeel Screen Protector for iPad 9/8/7 - Matte PET Paperfeel Film, Scratch Resistant, No Glare, Compatible with Apple Pencil by James Pope

Well I'm ultimately responsible for how to put a protective film on my iPad, but I've never had such unnecessary, detailed but unclear instructions on how to do it. I *really* think having three small pieces of tape to attach the screen protector to the iPad itself before removing and flattening the back is a good strategy, but for some reason both of my screen protectors were labeled and bent between them . Front and back, making it difficult to tell which side is the back and which is the actual screen protector. I ended up having to give up my first one because it ripped off the back of the front. It's all quite confusing to explain in words, but it really shouldn't have been confusing if the parts were labeled properly! I had good results on my second try and would have easily given this product 4-5 stars apart from the confusing application process. However, the texture doesn't quite feel like paper and feels more like a smooth satin/matte screen protector than I would expect from real paper (paper is rougher). It also doesn't protect against fingerprints as well as I would expect from a matte/satin screen protector - I've seen better results on my phone. It's preferable to the iPad's usual old glossy look, though. Overall I am a bit disappointed with this product. Both for the price and for the results. I intend to wear screen protectors on my devices for at least a year before changing them, but in that case I'll definitely look elsewhere when the time comes.
