who is a good girl WHO'S A GOOD GIRL? me apparently.

I had no problem getting them to the right shape and full height after opening. They are compressed and folded. Just give them a little time, let them lie flat somewhere, and adjust the seams and corners of the case from time to time to allow the foam inside to "puff up". (Hell, it was even cold in my house when they arrived - I was afraid I'd have to use a hair dryer or something, but no.) My dogs are sooo happy. I have two dogs and bought two brown "king" beds with Sherpa tops. One dog (chestnut colored) is on the larger side of the Medium (and quite muscular) and the other (with a blue merle pattern) is larger on the smaller end of the Large (but slightly plump due to No longer in juvenile demeanour ). ). If you can follow that. I don't know her weight offhand. Large beds are suitable for them. The bigger of the two dogs got arthritis in his hind legs, poor old man. The last beds we had kept trying to "whisper" (they were cheap thin single layer foam beds). He shifted them as seen in people with pillows (piling them up, tucking them under their heads, etc.), often clinging to both beds, leaving the smaller dog without a bed. He didn't feel the need to fluff those beds. He just falls and loses consciousness. I looked around for something thicker than their newest beds and could hold not-so-light dogs without forcing them to sink in the middle. So for me it meant foam, not fluff. I have reviewed sooooo many foam mattresses and have even gone to pet stores to try different types. After playing around with different ones, it was decided that the "egg crate foam" was exhausted. Only from. Too much"give". So we decided on different rigid foams. They have many variations. Some are too hard, others too soft. This made it really hard for us when we thought about possibly ordering online (we were on a tight budget and the stores were way overpriced). I read all the reviews of different brands and styles. narrowed my search until I finally sorted out everything else and ordered these. My dogs couldn't be happier with me. i'm a good girl Yes. A very good girl. You will definitely let me know. Beds are higher than what they are used to (which weren't down-filled) but not difficult to climb on, strong enough to support their weight but soft enough to "sag" underneath . *enough. They don't sink too deep, they don't touch the hard floor through the mattress and the beds don't feel like bricks underneath (damn my 1.5 year old grandson loves to sit and lay on them, they are so comfortable ). I swear it's impossible to get a big dog from them now. Sometimes I have to ask him to move around a bit at night as the mattresses *really* can slip a bit on the hardwood floor and block the door they sleep in. He used to get up immediately when asked so I could move the old beds. Not so much anymore. He is too comfortable and too deeply asleep not to be disturbed by my stupid human request. Very nice beds bought by a very nice girl for her very nice boys.
