Review on Converse Unisex Classic Monochrome Sneaker: Timeless Style and Versatility by Adam Price

I bought these shoes on December 29, 2017 and when they arrived I was very happy with them. They're comfortable, they look good, they feel great even after walking or standing all day, and the black on black is just crisp. However, after about 3 months in these shoes I was very disappointed in their durability. I wear them for daily casual walking, I don't jog or workout in them, but the rubber lining that attaches the upper to the rubber sole has started to split where the shoe flexes when walking. It started at the top of the boot first and one day I was unfortunate enough to step into a small puddle only to find that the sole of the boot was no longer keeping my feet dry and I wasted the rest of the time. That day I walked with a wet foot. Always an optimist, I took some Gorilla Glue and re-glued the rubber to the shoe where it was coming loose, making sure there was enough glue on the bottom to make it waterproof again. This went on for a whole week until this time the boot tore in a new spot along the heel. However, the last straw happened 3 weeks ago. I put on the left shoe with no problem, as I have every day since I received them. The right boot, however, had other plans for my day, and as I put my foot in it, the fabric on the right side of the right boot, around the level of my ankle, decided to tear, and when I say tear, it's from the uppers Shoes torn down to the rubber sole which made the shoes unusable for me at that moment. I expected these shoes to last more than 5 months as I've worn crappy cheap shoes for years without them falling apart, but that didn't seem to help.
