Tecsun PL-380 or PL-310ET?

I recently had the opportunity to compare Tecsun PL-380 and PL-310ET. I was curious as to why Tecsun sells two identical radios. Here are my observations. I will simply refer to the 310ET as the 310. The 380 and 310 are the same size (the 310 appears to be slightly larger). Model 310 has a connector for an external antenna. not on the 380. The 310 has a tuning dial. 380 has a tuning wheel. Both have big wheels. The 380 has a slightly larger LCD display. Both have rear racks. The Model 380 comes with a wire antenna that attaches directly to the built-in antenna. 310 does not have a cable antenna. Both come with headphones. The characteristics of the radio are the same. MW, FM, SW, ATS, BW, Light, Snooze, Alarm, ETM and so on. Remarkably, the buttons for these functions are small and particularly difficult to press on the 310 as they sit flush with the body. On the 380, the buttons are raised and much easier to use. Both radios are the same in terms of functionality, sensitivity and selectivity (both are very good on all bands. Both listen to the same stations. So what's the difference between them? The sound their speakers produce. The 310 is softer, smoother more enjoyable Sound is best for music (FM) but not unacceptable for speech (MW SW) that both have small speakers so this difference is not like night and day but noticeable when listening to them side by side Both radios make a reliable and high quality sound impression.I hope this helps you with your decision. You won't be disappointed either.
