I read many reviews before purchasing and they seemed like the best choice for brightness. I was not disappointed. As you can see in the picture, they shine brightly at night at maximum brightness. However, they lose brightness when the batteries die. So if you plan on keeping them on for a month, plan on swapping out the batteries to keep them bright. (I let them burn for 8 hours.) I had some trouble getting some of these out of the gold candle holders, so don't push them in too hard if you plan to keep them in their packaging.
