I liked the flame function. It mimics the flickering of a flame well. I've used during the holiday season and they all worked. Remote control and timer worked well. Sometimes I had to double-check to make sure I was burning a real candle. Maybe not for the extremely paranoid about it.

When I first saw them I thought they would be easy to operate with the remote control so I put them on all the windows. Turns out the ones with an automatic light sensor would be a better choice, it's not really the product's fault but I gave them 3 stars because they burn up the batteries in 3 days of continuous use.

Insert batteries before Christmas and they will still light up despite the power failure. Very happy with them. I bought another set after buying the first set.

Overall, these candles are gorgeous! However only 8 out of 9 work. I wanted to contact the seller to see if they would send a replacement spark plug but I don't see a way to contact them. I tried to touch the base but kept getting stuck. I hope you see this review and contact me. I would like to be able to raise my rating to a full 5 stars. Should this defective spark plug need to be replaced, I would happily recommend it.

I read many reviews before purchasing and they seemed like the best choice for brightness. I was not disappointed. As you can see in the picture, they shine brightly at night at maximum brightness. However, they lose brightness when the batteries die. So if you plan on keeping them on for a month, plan on swapping out the batteries to keep them bright. (I let them burn for 8 hours.)
