Very nice, but check your hose reel

This is one nice hose. Lightweight, flexible, and with some very decent brass connections. It arrived in a roll (photo 1), with a few cellophane wraps to keep it tidy. But what really impressed me were the heavy-duty handles (photo 2). No need for a wrench, and easy to tighten as much as necessary by hand. No leaks, either. I un-wound my old hundred-foot garden hose from my hose reel, and mounted the newcomer in its place. And I had a bit of a problem. The stiffness of those handles meant they would not bend when I began reeling in the hose (photo 3). The handle stuck out quite a bit, and if I continued to wind, there was a noticible kink. I did not see any way to continue winding without getting kinked. So off came the new hose, and on went the old one (photo 4). That hose also has "kind of" a handle, but it bends, and doesn't kink up. On the other hand, the new hose is a quality product, and there may be other hose reels out there that can "handle it." The new hose seems suited for nearly anything, but it may have a kinking problem depending on whether you use a reel, and whether that reel won't cause a kink. BTW, I just noticed that when you click on a photo, it gets bigger and you can see more details.
