I bought this because I thought it would be nice to have really soft smooth feet. I didn't have any dry patches or calluses, just normal feet that are a bit worn. Well this product works very well. Essentially, it instantly shaves off the top layer of skin, leaving soft, smooth skin. It's easy to use and the battery life is great. I would recommend it to anyone who needs this type of product. HOWEVER, I warn you - unless you have dry, rough, calloused skin, DO NOT start with this. About a week after using it, I noticed that the skin on my heels and bases of my toes became dry, rough, and looked ashy and disgusting. No amount of moisturizer will take care of that and I had to use this thing again to "shave" my leg. Now it looks like a vicious circle. I wish I had never used it.
