Review on 🌡️ HiLetgo Temperature Controller Thermostat: Advanced One Channel Test, Measure & Inspect Device by Bryan Gallardo

I bought 2 of these from different sellers but they were exactly the same. There were no instructions and it took some time to figure out the wiring. The first ones I got in testing worked fine, but when they were plugged in all the time (like testing) the little CPU chip burned out. This happened on both devices. I then bought another set from a different supplier thinking I could get better results. Not me. The second set I received had the same problem. On the first unit, when the 12V+ wire was connected to the K1 terminal and power was applied, the processor chip immediately burned out. I tried connecting the 2nd device without the 12V jumper to at least power the device and it turned out to arrive with the PCB cracked in half. The second building was also damaged. These devices come in anti-static plastic packaging without a box, so they are easily damaged in transit. One of mine had a subtle crack that I only noticed after spending time assembling, wiring and troubleshooting. The only reason for ANY Stars was the low price and the fact that I assume they will work as they are supposed to if hooked up correctly. A few simple schematics, instructions and some shipping packaging would most likely make this a 5 star product. Likewise. For your information. Did a lot of homework after messing up the first 2 units by searching by model number. When the second set arrived I was ready and thought I knew what to do. After 4 units have been thrown in the trash I cannot condone them. As mentioned above, a few simple instructions and the best packaging can make all the difference here.
