Check the recommended heater air pressure to determine if this is the problem.

Nice item, arrived quickly and in good condition. I had a problem with my heater and it wouldn't turn off. I checked the air pressure at the burner and found it to be low so I checked and cleaned the air compressor filter but it didn't help once I noticed the air hose was cracked. I went to the burner nozzle so I had enough hose to cut off the bifurcated end and reconnect, still no joy, then I removed the compressor cover and found the nozzles were worn out so I ordered this kit and installed it, then installs air pressure to 3.5 psi. Air filter changed, started and works great. The item fit perfectly.
