We bought this for our daughter for her first birth day and set it up in a simple form. She did not climb all over it the first couple of weeks but it kept her attention. after a month or so she was climbing it and ready for the large formation with the slide. She loves it and loves to climb, it helped her have some familiar skills to use when she started going to playgrounds regularly. Throw a blanket over it and its a fort.Its made out of light wood and is as stable as you would imagine it would be from looking at the pictures? plenty for a toddler.I think this climbing triangle will make worried type parents feel uncomfortable and it will make cavalier parents a little nervous too but its not a roof top our daughter has rolled off any spills she has had on it and they have not been anything that has discouraged her from getting back on. We can tell that she is able to have more fun at playgrounds and activity areas than other children we see and we feel like being able to learn on things like this triangle regularly at home is the reason.
