I have a thick beard that is about 8 inches from my chin. Now it's quite long and can dry out quickly during the day, especially after swimming, which I do a lot. I've started using conditioner in the shower (I usually leave it on for 4-5 minutes but according to the instructions it works well after a minute) and it makes a huge difference to anything I've used before. My beard doesn't dry out for a few days after using it, but I wanted something in between that didn't require rinsing and didn't have that signature smell, so I bought a balm. I don't like oils or waxes like balms and it's not that. It's a watery cream similar to sunscreen and is exactly what I wanted. When I first used it, I immediately noticed the difference and I really liked it. My beard was a little damp when applied (just came out of the salt basin) and it was easy to apply and only a small amount was used. After it dried I went back to the pool and was pleased that it didn't feel greasy or washed out. There is also no pronounced smell. Overall I am very satisfied with the performance of their products. My beard is now very soft and easier to comb.
