So far so good, but the hiss is coming from my device.
Don't worry, this is only a temporary mount so I know where I want to permanently mount this device. So far it keeps my batteries within 0.03 volts of each other. My only complaint so far is the high-pitched hiss I hear from it. The device does not appear to be unusually hot for its operation.
