My first experience with a digital photo frame was with some trepidation: it was difficult to set up. I'm having no luck with device syncing, bluetooth hates me, setup is never as easy as it sounds. Well I was pleasantly surprised. You need to install the app and set up an account. This requires an email confirmation, which was the most stressful part as the app counts down from 60 seconds! AAAAAAA! But the email came right away so it wasn't a problem. From here, connect the picture frame and turn it on. Wait a minute, this is important. be fooled into thinking it's wireless. But that's not the case. I had a really good spot to place the frame next to an electrical outlet, but was a little disappointed that I couldn't just put it on a bookshelf. Once the frame is activated, you have to 'add a friend', which is like pairing with an AppleTV (the frame shows a code, you enter the code into the app and voila, they recognize each other). After that, happily go through your photos and send the ones you want to frame. I say that with a little sarcasm and a few tears in my eyes. I tended to think 2020 was boring and depressing, but looking through all my photos I found loads of happy moments! So i liked it. However, you can only select 9 images to sync at a time. And sometimes in the app it's hard to tell which ones you've selected. Once you proceed, you cannot deselect. You have the option to label them all or not, and you can specify the "focus" of the image so it knows what you really want in the frame (if it's a landscape OR a portrait). It got a little tedious when I ended up transferring over 300 photos. Here's the process. What about the frame? She is actually very beautiful. The photo quality is higher than I expected. The frame comes with a stand that snaps into place. It's thin and looks pretty natural on my desk. It's also a touchscreen, which I think is to be expected, but I'm old enough that the touchscreen is still a treat for me (if it works, which this one does). It has some slideshow and display settings to play around with and gives you storage information, but once you've set it up you'll probably just leave it at that. I'm not sure how much power it uses, so I try to remember to turn off the bezel when I'm not around, but it's pretty fascinating to look at. I haven't set it up with Alexa as I'm not quite sure what to tell her with that, other than it can't turn on the frame. and from. (Must experiment.) In the end I am very happy with my digital photo frame. The application isn't buggy or difficult to use, and the framework is simple but powerful. (The only thing I can't figure out is how to change the temperature from °C to °F.) I've included a few pictures of the frame and settings so you can get an idea. Recommended!
