It's amazing how many plug-in devices can't have an on/off switch. This handy gadget adds that functionality. I bought a toaster with an "always on" digital display, and while the power draw may be minimal, I got tired of having all the appliances in my house "partially up." I'm sure the overall balance adds up and this is one way to put an end to that.
