This is the smallest recorder I have ever seen. The quality is top notch, the crystal clear recording will not disappoint anyone. I'm a student and the professors speak at 200 miles per second, so I need to record my lectures so I can add to my notes as needed. I sit in very large classrooms that can hold about 500 students and I usually sit in the middle of the room. I tried sitting anywhere in the room, front, back, side - I heard the instructor (speaking into the mic) with the same quality every time. I use the 192k settings since the wav files are ridiculously large (a 50 minute lecture took around 600mb per file, but the quality is even better than 192kb, which gets me around 120-140mb per file). 16GB is a lot of storage space even if you're recording at the highest quality (I'd say around 10MB/min for the highest quality CD and 3MB/min for the second highest quality (192kb). Clip on the back so that You can clip it to your backpack, the side pocket of your shirt (yes, it fits great!) and many other places The clip is durable so you don't lose your device Small and uncomfortable to touch/press This has been fixed in the TX 650 and the buttons are big enough not to confuse anyone yet) Selling the product with a Japanese interface when you click the "New" button under the description for more sellers) that they sell the item in English . I paid about another $30 and got my device with a full English interface. It's also a good idea to message the seller you're trying to buy from and ask if the device's language is English. Sellers usually say yes, but confirm this by asking them to look at the packaging: If the product packaging is in English --> You have the English version. If the packaging says something in Japanese, then the product is NOT in English. I bought mine from seller "NewItemExpress" and it was shipped from Japan. I received my item in two weeks.
