I received them and at first I thought that there are not that many lights on the garland, but in fact they are exactly twice as close together as the other garland I have is so long that is actually too long for small bottles. I can use these lightweight metal strings which are very inexpensive compared to buying a similar type at the store in most long neck bottles. (She hit one.) This doesn't work on every bottle (and these corks are a little smaller than my others), but it also means they work where my others are set too high. They're great because the manufacturer thought about the after-sales life and knew that the most economical and easiest way was to use regular batteries instead of the watch batteries that most others use, and it only takes ONE AAA battery! I can use beautiful lights longer, cheaper and easier. The "plugs" (plastic) rotate clockwise to turn the light on and counterclockwise to turn it off. Happy lighting everyone!
