This is a fairly complete hair clipper set designed primarily for beard grooming, although it can also be used for trimming. Of all the kits I've reviewed so far, and there are many, this is by far the most neatly packaged and organized kit. It is very nicely packaged, all trimmer accessories are neatly packaged and labeled. The trimmer is made of lightweight plastic. As such, it doesn't appear to be very strong or durable. It comes with a large set of accessories including a comb and scissors. This trimmer also features a very compact stand that won't take up much space on your bathroom countertop, yet keeps the trimmer and all its accessories neat and convenient. The trimmer body is equipped with a rechargeable battery. Which type is not specified. Li-ion batteries are usually clearly labeled, which leads me to believe it's most likely a rechargeable NiMH battery. It takes quite a long time to charge (around 3-5 hours) but it has about half the typical run time of most other trimmers I've reviewed, at just 45 minutes. There is an LED indicator to show when the trimmer is charging, but no indicator to show how much charge the trimmer has. , hair trimming, nose/ear trimming, precision trimming or shaving. There are knobs on each side of the trimmer body, making it easy to remove and replace each head. All trimmer heads can be cleaned either with the supplied brush or under water. This trimmer comes with a unique USB charging cable that attaches magnetically to the trimmer body for charging. This seemed like a really cool idea at first, but I quickly realized it was annoying as the magnet is pretty weak and doesn't stick to the trimmer very well. It fell off the trimmer easily when I even moved the trimmer slightly to check its charge level. Since the charging cable is trademark, you're out of luck if you lose or damage the cable that came with this kit. After charging the trimmer for a few hours, I tried it out. It has a fairly low hum and will not bother others. Cuts just like other trimmers I've used. The blade depth cannot be adjusted on this particular trimmer, but the included guides easily snap in and out for easy cutting and trimming. The nose hair trimmer works just like the battery powered ones I've used in the past. All in all, this is a very complete set at a reasonable price. It should meet the needs of any man who needs a beard trimmer. Except for those with short hair, I don't think it would be very helpful for a haircut. While the trimmer doesn't feel very durable, it's very light and will likely hold up well for a long time if not dropped or abused. I really like the stand that comes with this set. The biggest disadvantage of this set is the patented magnetic charging cable. As long as you're careful not to get in the way of the trimmer charging it's not a big deal, but a more secure and standardized USB cable would be much better.
