Still tweaking and testing. My configuration compares well to regular desktops at half the price. I can't use Bitlocker due to the lack of a TPM chip (not a big problem, but good to know in advance. You can use a hardware-encrypted SSD instead). The device heats up, but does not heat up. Came with activated Windows 10 PRO 64 bit. They also sent me the key. There is no documentation or a separate/printed license key, so I suggest that you first make a full backup of your Windows 10 system on a labeled USB drive including the license key and keep it in a safe place. After setting up the PC to suit your needs, create another full backup onto a USB stick with a different label. This is probably a good process for any PC. I note that the motherboard is configured with thermal protection - a very important feature for a fanless PC! For my purposes, many COM ports are redundant, but I can use USB ports and two HDMI ports can be useful in other applications. As long as it remains reliable (I suspect good ventilation should be taken care of) this is a good buy.
