This resulted in the terrifying sound of nails banging on the blackboard as the chairs slid across the floor.
Our dining room has chairs with wooden legs on a matte tile floor. This resulted in the terrifying sound of nails on the board as the chairs slid across the floor. These sliders took care of that issue and I didn't notice any damage. I installed by pre-drilling each leg with a 1/16" drill bit and then pressing each leg firmly with my thumbs. No hammer blow required. I am now buying more bar stools for our kitchen island.
