Great Price: Accent Furniture

I don't usually write reviews but this product deserves it. I am a DIYer who has built countless products similar to this cabinet. I wasn't expecting much "quality" at Revain's low price point and the reviews I read before buying seemed to suggest it was great value for money but worth believing. Our Ellsworth cabinet is now hanging in our bathroom and it looks amazing! However, I do offer the following "tips" and "additional steps" that will greatly improve the quality, durability and installation of your new Ellsworth cabinet: 1. Open the box, count and inspect all the parts. If everything is "perfectโ€, proceed to assembly. If not, email to the address provided in the instructions and your "Replacement Parts" will be shipped within 48 hours (MF). Wait for "replacement" BEFORE starting the project.2. Use a screwdriver by hand. A cordless screwdriver is not required and not recommended!3. IMPORTANT! - Use water-based glue in ALL HOLES, including "threaded" holes. (wipe off excess glue with a damp cloth and dry) 4. Tighten all screws firmly, but do not overtighten or you will clean the holes.5. When finished, allow 2 DAYS before "wall mounting" for ALL adhesives to be 100% dry (for maximum product strength/durability). 6. IMPORTANT! - DO NOT use the screws/plugs supplied with the cabinet! They are too short/weak and the case MAY fall off! Go to a hardware store and buy 1/2" longer screws (2" long). Buy or upgrade but use better/stronger wall anchors for installation.7. IMPORTANT! - Use another person to "fix" the closet. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO INSTALL IT YOURSELF!8. Use a small "2-hole mounting rod/tape" for proper "hole spacing" (the instructions don't say what to use it for). Press it against the wall ("levelโ€), "markโ€ the holes with a pencil and drill holes for installing dowels. I was impressed with the craftsmanship I could see in the product. I was expecting "cheap" lacquered chipboard, but instead it was "pressed" and looked like a more expensive material. One of my works was "poorly done". I emailed and my replacement was here (China) in 7 days. While the instructions do NOT recommend using glue or getting better screws/dowels to "hang" the cabinet - I NEVER BUILD OR "HANG" THIS CABINET WITHOUT SOMETHING - absolutely never! Our cabinet looks great and I would highly recommend this adhesive and improved fixing product.
