This is a gift for my daughter and she loves it. It can stay on all night and doesn't get hot, which is very important to me because I'm paranoid. The lighting is very subtle but beautiful. My daughter is obsessed with the galaxy and loves the way "it looks from the outside". Your words are not mine. It brings enough light into the room so that it is not pitch black, like a small night light. It doesn't take up much space and fits very well in your dresser. It doesn't look weird or out of place, it's also very aesthetically pleasing.
