I was looking for a lightweight duvet or cover and this fitted the bill. When it's cold, I prefer to use a duvet underneath - mostly because when a duvet or bedspread needs to be cleaned, it never looks the same after it's been put in the washing machine and dried. The reviewer mentioned that it really doesn't cover in size. The description says this is a bedspread so I understand it can be confusing. It's actually a bedspread/blanket, so it needs a skirt. But the price was great and I found a cheap sheet at a local store. I am very happy with this purchase. It looks very nice and I'm a picky person. LAUGH OUT LOUD.
