Xprite White & Amber 36 18W High Intensity LEDs. This is a very bright light for the money spent. The light turned on easily and plugged into a 12 volt outlet with no issues. The bottom of the light bar has nice rubber feet surrounded by lots of magnets that won't scratch the top of your car. The light bar looks small when it arrives in the mail, but turns out good things come in small packages. In broad daylight, Lil Wyte was decently bright and prominent. The cord is about 7 feet long and fits nicely in the cab of my Chrysler van. However, if you have a longer cord, you will need to purchase an extension cord. Judging by the on/off switch, I seriously doubt the light won't work properly if you cut the cord. For a Chinese lantern, the build quality is better than other lanterns I've bought. The cable is good quality and well insulated, the 12v plug has a nice switch that is easy to use and the light bar has lots of magnets on the bottom to keep it from flying off the car roof. .If you are looking for an inexpensive light bar that shines brightly during the day, then this light is for you.
