Really difficult build. Cut Them Properly Camco

Camco only ships them 1/8" to 1/4" in length. They say use tin snips to cut and trim! Good luck cutting stainless steel! I clamped each end of the screen in a vise and carefully bent the ends to fit, not cut off! They don't cut easily. NEXT. They say "make sure the screen is inserted all the way back for a snug fit" if needed. A metal tab protrudes from the lid to catch things or suck in rain when the screen isn't cropped. What a problem! Instead of trimming the screens evenly over their entire length with scissors, I used a bench grinder to sand down 1 row of the screen to fit. Again, unnecessary hassle to mount them correctly. And finally, they ship them with pre-cut rounded corners! Now they would be easy to cut if you kept the corners straight. So because of the pre-punched round edges. there are cracks in the corners with no screen cover! Big enough for the bees to move! Check out the photos! So this product. If properly cut from the factory, it should snap into place. BUT they are offset just enough that easy assembly without a fit is impossible! Instead of an hour it took 2 hours to get them right. And gaps in rounded corners are not fixed. I'll plug the gaps at each corner with small pieces of steel wool, silicon, or tape. After carefully removing the wasp nest, I have no desire to let them retreat! AND ALSO. be careful! They bend easily. Mine arrived with a few creases from shipping and they need to be flat to serve their intended purpose. Yes! They will work, but not without endless fiddling to get a CORRECT fit. My trailer is a 2018 Forest River and the fridge vent covers most trailers I see that are exactly the same size as mine. SO CAMCO!. Cut them right! Fit! The problems with their installation fall directly on your shoulders. There should be a light breeze, no nuisance.
