The receiver, as a rule, is discharged first, half an hour or an hour earlier. And I also keep forgetting to adjust the volume level in the camera if I use several microphones (with a gun, for example). I have to muffle Blinky by 10-12 dB so that they don’t “clip”, compared to a gun or a built-in microphone. But this is if I don’t monitor the sound during recording with headphones :) This is more a matter of my hand-to-hand than of the mics, but I used to have a "general/universal" volume setting for all mics.
