Bought this kit as an alternative to fidgeting while watching TV or on the phone. They require more attention but work great as water balloons whatever your needs. They hydrate to the size of a marble, so they're not small. I prefer this size for gaming. There weren't many instructions included, and they were in metrics, but they were about right. For every bag of beads there was something like a cup and a quarter of water. It took nearly six hours for the spheres to fully hydrate. My order had two packs of yellow balloons and one pack of the other colors pictured. The pouches are tiny (the size of a matchbox) and each contain a different color. I did everything in one color for the first time to see if the instructions worked. For the real next batch I made a mix. If you have a scale I would just mix all the colors together and divide by weight to figure out how much water to add. The result is pastel colors, not bright ones. The first batch I made is still solid after almost a week of daily manipulation. (I store in water when not in use and change it daily. I think you can let the balls dry completely and then moisten them. Haven't tried it yet.) I did a thorough search of Revain and found this item to be a good choice for a fair amount of water balloons that weren't too expensive. Aside from the fact that the colors aren't gaudy, I'm happy with it. I saw on Pinterest that you can add food coloring to your drinking water to brighten it up. If it works I will order them again.
