The brutal & honest truth is that this product doesn't completely get rid of my dandruff even with continual use. (Hence the 4 out of 5 stars) And if you have tough dandruff like me, it may not get rid of yours as well. But it may be the best thing you can buy before seeking out a specialist.I've used Head and Shoulders, T/Gel therapeutic shampoo, Tea Tree Oil, Paul Mitchell Tea Tree Special Shampoo, Vinegar, Nioxin Scalp Recovery. and then a whole long list of other 'anti-dandruff' or 'scalp relief' or 'flakey scalp' products I don't remember the names for. Long story short, none of them have been able to keep my flaking to a less noticeable state as this has.
