This jug is perfect for making 48 ounces of orange juice from frozen concentrate. As you can see from the photos it fills 48 oz. It was a 12 ounce can of frozen juice concentrate and 3 cans of 12 ounce water filled juice. You could get a little more but not 6 oz. Also, when I shook the pitcher to mix the orange juice, a few drops came out. It may be difficult to push the locking mechanism into the unlocked position. In general, I like the jug, it just has a few quirks.
