If your hands are steady, aim for the moon!

First off I want to tell you that this camera is AWESOME! Even though I'm not a professional photographer, I like photographing things (not food or my face in ugly poses like "duck face" or any poses at all, I prefer photographing beautiful things and not including myself in the definition of beautiful ) and this camera performs incredibly well. Resolution is a "problem" because there's so much you can do with 12.1MP, I wish it was 20MP, but oh well, my phone has it and the images aren't as sharp as this camera. The main advantage of this camera is the zoom. , THAT'S STRONG! As the name suggests, if you have steady hands (sniper level) you can bring it close to our beautiful moon and snap some shots. This device is not for NASA, but it can take beautiful pictures. The possibilities are endless, and if it weren't for the autofocus during nighttime "triggering" I could be photographing one passenger plane and flying another. (Only it didn't happen because I was flying with red eyes.) However, on the same flight I took a (different) full moon picture (photo of 2 moons during the day), so for me it's still a win! Video quality is incredible, but you'll need to buy a super-fast Class 10 or UHS-I memory card to record videos smoothly and with minimal lag between frames. This camera also has a rechargeable battery, so it's good that you don't have to mess with AA every time, and the bad thing is that changing the battery or charger can cost you a lot. see some pictures. Just click the 'Play' button and you're done. A word of warning to end this review: don't walk the beach for too long with this camera. Sand can easily get into the lens on windy beaches and it is VERY PAINFUL to clean. PS BOTH pictures were taken with this camera, one from the ground (night) the other on the plane (day)
