I also have a Surker trimmer which I like but there is a big difference between the two. The Surker is much heavier and has wider blades. This Hatteker is thinner and lighter, easier to maneuver and suitable for more detailed work. If you only want to shave a large area, something wider is preferable so you don't have to do as many passes, but for a medium cut, this works great. The only complaint I have is the location of the power button, which is right in the middle of the case. I accidentally turned off the razor several times while cutting my hair. But other than that it's a good device. Build quality is good, blades do a great job with a haircut, hold a charge well. It comes with everything you need and I am happy with my purchase.
