Does the job surprisingly well.
When I opened the box I was really a little disappointed. It looks a little plasticky, maybe a little careless. But I've been using it for about a week now and it has actually turned out to be near perfect.* It fits the 15" MacBook Pro snugly. You'll never notice.* The dense texture is perfect both on top and bottom: you are different one for laptop and one for knees very happy huge I didn't realize how hot my knees actually got until I started using this thing and feeling the difference so I just got one each for Bought at home and office: problem solved.* It's light enough to be easily moved etc. Overall very satisfied.
