I love this toothpaste! I made our toothpaste, but I was fed up with running out and having to make another batch, so I wanted a convenient product with no fluoride, glycerin, or additives. It's also important that it really freshens the breath and works on remineralization: that's what we (including our two-year-old) need. As a word of caution, I sympathize with California corporations. This is a horribly misleading law: while I'd like to think someone had good interests in mind, I'm afraid it's more based on profit. Most companies like Starbucks don't have deep pockets to fight this law and this is misleading information. I wouldn't even blink with this product because of the lead content in the clay. If you're an avid explorer of food, food information, and knowledge in general, then you know that your drinking water and organic vegetables contain trace amounts of lead because they come from the earth.
