I use it for work with my work laptop. It works great; although there are a few things I would change if I were omnipotent. The controls are jerky and I still haven't figured them out - basically I just fiddle around and find the brightness or whatever I'm trying to adjust and it works. However, I've never had a monitor with a great user interface, that's all. The company was fantastic and sent me a longer power cord - actually free of charge (thanks guys!) and it was very helpful as the original power cord was pretty short for some reason. I've used the monitor both horizontally and vertically and it's easy to toggle, but I feel like it can fall forward in a vertical position due to the design of the support shield on the back. It might be worth buying a stand. When I use it along with my regular monitor, it overheats my laptop, but that's more because my laptop has all three ports (regular HDMI monitor, portable USB-C monitor, and USB-C power cable) next to each other. together. The cooling pad mitigated this problem and I don't have this problem unless I'm using my regular monitor e.g. B. when I'm on the road. I liked that it had a protective cover when I was taking it to work and that it was easy to slip into my carry-on after security. A super convenient and useful way to have a second monitor when using your laptop!
