It was a wonderful little portable monitor. I move it between jobs and when I'm on the go. HDMI and USB-C work great. You can easily power the monitor directly from a USB battery when using HDMI. Colors are pretty good and the screen gets decently bright. It's clear and looks great once tweaked. No ghosting or dead pixels. However, the stand makes it a HUGE, HUGE, HUGE winner. My god, this is a game changer. Now you don't have screen flip covers but they give you a SUPER GOOD case in the box. I would prefer a stand. I cannot recommend this monitor enough if you have a need or desire. It's great to go all the way as a warrior day by day. Customer service was excellent. I bought it from stock which was a mistake. It was a great price, support helped me get a free USB-C cable to fix the problem. I intend to buy another one at some point. That way I can connect the one to my workstation forever. Works with both USB-C and Thunderbolt, in case you're wondering. Also, the screen has a matte finish that's great for sunlight! Now for the cons. Brightness settings are forgotten when unplugged (never forgets when left plugged in). I default to 30. It doesn't do it every time. Luckily all I have to do is flip the toggle switch up and it goes back to the 75-80 settings, which I like. The rocker switch is very small and you have to be careful with it, it won't break or anything, it's just a bit awkward. HDR and the like also ONLY work via HDR. I haven't been able to test Freesync, so I'm not sure. The speakers aren't great, but why use monitor speakers at all? Note that none of this removes even a tiny fraction of the star. It's still a basic 5 star hotel. So yes, buy. I looked at many other portable monitors and took a chance on this one. I'm super happy! I hope you will too.
