I recently had achilles tendon surgery and needed to buy new shoes. This is the top of the heap. They fit my feet perfectly and are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I recently rode 9 miles on tarmac and my leg held up well. I bought a second pair in a different color and I highly recommend these shoes. They are great for travel as they are easy to put on and take off. I didn't know they were slip ons when I first ordered them, didn't think I'd like them but damn I was wrong, they're perfect for me. If there is a downside, it could be that it is an outdoor shoe that doesn't provide enough support for hiking/off-road riding.
