The pressure gauge I received will never work. This raises doubts whether I received a fake or all the positive reviews are lies. The pressure gauge uses a non-standard air hose coupling with an O-ring to ensure tightness. Because the check valve is on the other end of the hose (closest to the engine), this air coupling needs to be perfectly sealed to get accurate readings and to hold readings and not instantly reset to zero. Well the o-ring has absolutely nothing to hold it in place. So as soon as you connect the coupler, the o-ring is pushed to the side and the coupler leaks. It can by no means withstand any air pressure. I was able to fix this by replacing the coupler with a stock one, but this loses the exhaust valve so it now has to be disconnected and reconnected every time you want to take a new reading.
