I was unsure about the V cut of the waist, but I actually really like it! It's very flattering and hugs my curves nicely. I felt the size 6 ran a bit large. Or maybe I'm used to a little more compression? So if you're in between sizes and enjoy a little more compression, I'd go ahead and size down. The waistband did no roll down. The material is right in between matte and shiny. It has a very light sheen to it. They pass the squat test and are completely opaque. The crotch is seamless. The side pockets are on the smaller side but still fit my phone. Overall, I really like these leggings! I would recommend them and purchase them again!
